1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering, submitting inquiries, making payments, or using any services offered through the Tutor Nation Portal (“Platform”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”), along with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and other policies published by Tutor Nation from time to time.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

2. About Tutor Nation

Tutor Nation is an educational platform that connects students, parents, tutors, coaching institutes, and academic professionals for:

  • Home Tuition Services

  • Online Tuition Services

  • Tutor Lead Generation

  • Academic Consultation

  • Educational Marketing & Promotions

  • WhatsApp & CRM-Based Support Services

Tutor Nation acts solely as a facilitator/platform intermediary and does not guarantee:

  • Tutor selection

  • Student admissions

  • Academic performance

  • Board/competitive exam results

  • Assignment continuity

  • Minimum lead generation

  • Guaranteed income or conversions

3. User Eligibility

By using the Platform, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or using the Platform under supervision of a parent/legal guardian.

  • All information submitted by you is true, accurate, and complete.

  • You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable Indian laws.

4. User Accounts & Registration

Users may register on the Platform as:

  • Tutors

  • Students

  • Parents

  • Educational Service Providers

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials

  • Preventing unauthorized access

  • Updating correct contact information

  • All activities performed through their accounts

Tutor Nation reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing:

  • False information

  • Misleading claims

  • Fake documentation

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Abusive conduct

5. Tutor Registration & Verification

Tutors registering on the Platform agree that:

  • All educational qualifications, identity proofs, experience details, and certifications submitted must be genuine.

  • Submission of registration form does not guarantee approval or assignment allocation.

  • Tutor Nation may verify tutor information through calls, documents, references, or other verification methods.

  • Tutor Nation reserves the right to reject or remove tutor profiles without prior notice.

Tutors shall not:

  • Submit fake qualifications

  • Misrepresent teaching experience

  • Use another person’s identity

  • Misuse student information obtained through the Platform

6. Student & Parent Responsibilities

Students and parents using the Platform agree that:

  • All submitted academic requirements and contact details must be accurate.

  • Fees agreed with tutors or through Tutor Nation should be paid on time.

  • Tutors and support staff shall be treated respectfully and professionally.

  • Parents/students shall not engage in abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct.

Parents/students shall not:

  • Use fake inquiries to collect tutor information

  • Demand repeated unpaid demo classes

  • Share tutor contact details publicly

  • Attempt to bypass Tutor Nation after receiving tutor details

  • Record tutor sessions without permission

  • Engage in fraudulent payment disputes or chargebacks

Violation may result in:

  • Account suspension

  • Service restrictions

  • Legal action where applicable

7. Home Tuition Services

For home tuition assignments:

  • Parents/students must provide a safe and respectful teaching environment.

  • Tutors reserve the right to discontinue services in unsafe or inappropriate situations.

  • Tutor Nation is not responsible for disputes arising from:

    • Personal behavior

    • Location safety

    • Property damage

    • Scheduling conflicts

    • Academic expectations

Parents are advised to independently verify tutor credentials before final engagement.

8. Online Tuition Services

Tutor Nation may facilitate online tuition services using third-party platforms such as video conferencing applications and communication tools.

Users agree that:

  • Tutor Nation acts only as a connecting platform.

  • Online classes depend on internet connectivity, devices, and third-party software.

  • Tutor Nation does not guarantee uninterrupted online sessions.

  • Recording or distributing online classes without tutor consent is prohibited.

  • Misconduct during online classes may result in suspension or termination.

Tutor Nation shall not be liable for:

  • Internet failures

  • Power interruptions

  • Device malfunction

  • Software issues

  • Cybersecurity incidents beyond reasonable control

9. Demo Classes

If demo classes are provided:

  • Demo availability and duration shall be determined solely by Tutor Nation or the tutor.

  • Free demo classes cannot be repeatedly requested for misuse purposes.

  • Tutor Nation reserves the right to deny demo requests in suspicious cases.

10. Platform Fees & Service Charges

10.1 Annual Platform Fees

Tutors may be required to pay annual platform or registration fees to activate or renew their profiles.

  • Platform fees are valid only for one academic session irrespective of payment date.

  • Example: Fees paid for Academic Session 2026–27 remain valid only till the end of that session.

  • Platform fees are non-refundable unless specifically stated otherwise.

10.2 Lead & Assignment Charges

Tutor Nation may charge:

  • Lead generation fees

  • Service fees

  • Assignment commissions

  • Marketing charges

for connecting tutors with students.

10.3 Short-Term Assignment Charges

For assignments shorter than two months, Tutor Nation may charge up to 30% of the total tuition fees received from the student/parent.

11. Payment Terms

Payments on the Platform may be processed through third-party payment gateway providers including Razorpay and other authorized payment partners.

Users agree that:

  • They are authorized to use the selected payment method.

  • All payments are subject to successful authorization and verification.

  • Tutor Nation is not responsible for failures caused by:

    • Banks

    • UPI providers

    • Payment gateways

    • Internet/network issues

Payments may be accepted through:

  • UPI

  • Credit/Debit Cards

  • Net Banking

  • Wallets

  • EMI options (if available)

12. Razorpay & Payment Gateway Compliance

For integration with Razorpay and similar payment gateways:

  • Payments are processed through secure PCI-DSS compliant systems.

  • Users authorize Tutor Nation and payment partners to verify transactions for fraud prevention and compliance purposes.

  • Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks may additionally be governed by payment gateway policies.

  • Tutor Nation reserves the right to:

    • Hold suspicious transactions

    • Request additional verification

    • Cancel fraudulent payments

    • Restrict accounts involved in payment abuse

Users shall not use the Platform for:

  • Illegal transactions

  • Fraudulent payments

  • Unauthorized financial activity

  • Payment reversals without valid grounds

13. Subscription & Auto-Debit Authorization

If recurring or subscription-based services are enabled:

  • Users expressly authorize recurring billing.

  • Users may cancel future renewals before the next billing cycle.

  • Processed payments remain non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

14. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Unless explicitly mentioned otherwise:

  • Platform fees are non-refundable.

  • Registration fees are non-refundable.

  • Lead/service charges once utilized are non-refundable.

  • Refund requests, where applicable, shall be reviewed after verification.

Tutor Nation reserves sole discretion regarding approval or rejection of refunds.

15. WhatsApp, Calls & Communication Consent

By registering or using the Platform, users expressly consent to receive:

  • WhatsApp messages

  • Calls

  • SMS

  • Emails

  • Notifications

  • Promotional communications

from Tutor Nation and its authorized representatives.

Users may opt out of promotional communications where applicable.

16. Intellectual Property Rights

All Platform content including:

  • Logos

  • Branding

  • Website content

  • Designs

  • Databases

  • Marketing material

  • Software systems

are the intellectual property of Tutor Nation and protected under applicable laws.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, copy, or commercially exploit any content without written permission.

17. Privacy & Data Usage

Users consent to collection and processing of information including:

  • Name

  • Contact details

  • Academic requirements

  • Location data

  • Device/IP information

  • Payment-related details

Such information may be used for:

  • Service delivery

  • Tutor matching

  • CRM automation

  • WhatsApp communication

  • Marketing

  • Customer support

  • Fraud prevention

Sensitive payment information is securely processed through certified payment gateway providers and is not stored directly by Tutor Nation.

18. Prohibited Activities

Users shall not:

  • Submit fake information

  • Impersonate others

  • Use bots/scraping tools

  • Upload malware or harmful content

  • Abuse tutors, students, or staff

  • Violate applicable laws

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the Platform

  • Bypass Tutor Nation to avoid applicable service charges

19. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate third-party services including:

  • Payment gateways

  • WhatsApp APIs

  • CRM software

  • Analytics tools

  • Hosting providers

  • Video conferencing applications

Tutor Nation is not responsible for interruptions or issues caused by such third-party services.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

Tutor Nation does not guarantee:

  • Continuous platform availability

  • Error-free operations

  • Tutor/student compatibility

  • Academic success

  • Board exam performance

  • Competitive exam selection

  • Guaranteed assignments or income

Users use the Platform at their own risk.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tutor Nation shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect losses

  • Loss of income

  • Academic outcomes

  • Tutor/student disputes

  • Technical failures

  • Payment gateway errors

  • Data loss

  • Third-party misconduct

Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to Tutor Nation during the preceding three months.

22. Suspension & Termination

Tutor Nation reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice for:

  • Violation of Terms

  • Fraudulent conduct

  • Payment abuse

  • Misconduct

  • Fake documentation

  • Illegal activity

  • Platform misuse

23. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tutor Nation, its owners, employees, affiliates, and partners from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or legal proceedings arising from:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Misuse of the Platform

  • Fraudulent activities

  • Third-party disputes

24. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Ghaziabad.

25. Changes to Terms

Tutor Nation reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice.

Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
